This handmade speckled stoneware basket by Taos native Rachel A. Donner would be a perfect addition to your kitchen! Use it for either fruits or vegetables or anything else you might think of. This basket measures approximately three inches tall by six inches in diameter.
Donner says of her process, "Creating something out of clay is like healing a wound. My work is dictated by process and the sentimental experience of interacting with precious items on a daily basis." She has completed a number of artist residencies at notable institutions including Red Lodge Clay Center (MT) and Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts (ME).
Rachel Donner is the great-granddaughter of Nicholai Fechin.
