Please wear a mask indoors. In accordance with mandates from the State of New Mexico and the Town of Taos taking effect August 20, 2021, all visitors must wear a face mask while indoors, regardless of vaccination status and maintain physical distancing.
Please only view with your eyes. Please do not touch the artwork, objects, historical furnishings or surfaces. We also ask that you please not sit on the historical furniture. Portable chairs are available for use by request in the Museum. We also have chairs available in the Museum lobby, Fechin Studio, and outside if you need to rest.
Photography is welcomed! We welcome non-flash photography. Share your images with us on Instagram and Facebook @taosartmuseum!
Please leave large bags at the front desk or locked in your car. Please leave items larger than 12” x 6” x 12” (including purses, bags, and backpacks) with the front desk or locked in your car.

The first floor of the Fechin House, the Fechin Studio, Museum Store, gardens, and public restrooms are wheelchair accessible. In addition, wheelchair-accessible parking is available by the main entrance of the Museum.
