For the first time in Taos Art Museum's history, we are embarking on a capital campaign to build new facilities that will securely house and display our world-class art collection. Our goal is to raise $2,400,000 to build and equip the new structures. With 100% board support and incredible gifts from friends of the Museum, we have reached 99% of our goal!
Among these generous contributions is the largest single gift in our history made by Janis and Roy Coffee, Jr. — a $1.2 million cash investment in the Museum's promising future and a donation of 150 extraordinary paintings and drawings by early Taos artists. Through this incredible donation, they have illustrated their belief in the promise of Taos Art Museum's future and have expressed hope that their philanthropy will inspire others to contribute.
Thanks to these patrons' committed and visionary gifts, Taos Art Museum is entering a transformational new chapter that will benefit the Taos community and visitors from around the world. We invite you to join us in support of this vitally-important project.
