Taos Treasures: The Printmakers Guild 1939-1965
Presented by David Farmer, this illustrated lecture examines a group of female printmakers and educators who formed their own organization to circulate their art throughout the United States.
This was unique in the annals of American printmaking. A good number of these artists had connections in Taos, coming
in the summers and forming lasting friendships with artists like Gene Kloss, Ila McAfee Turner, and others.
