The Taos Art Museum, located in the historic Fechin House and Studio, is available for private events.

The Fechin House, Nicolai Fechin's Studio and the beautiful gardens between these historic buildings provide a unique and striking setting for events such as: weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties, reunions, holiday celebrations, theme parties, corporate and business events, and other events and celebrations. Depending on the size and scope of your event, these spaces are available for rent individually or in combination.

The Taos Art Museum is conveniently located in the heart of Taos, a short walk from the historic Taos Plaza and many major hotels. The Taos Art Museum is located just in front of one of the best hotels in Taos, the Fechin Inn.

Availability
The Fechin House and Studio are available for rent year round - evenings after 6 PM. The Garden is seasonally available - evenings after 6 PM and can also be made available for events during museum hours of 10 AM to 5 PM, Tuesday through Sunday.

Rental Rates for Private and Non-Profit Groups
An Events Use Agreement must be signed 90 days before the event with a minimum deposit of half the amount due at signing of the contract and the balance due 10 days before commencement of event.

All applicable Insurance certificates must be submitted to the museum seven (7) days prior to the event. A $100.00 cleaning deposit is required prior to commencement of event. The deposit will be held by the Museum as a deposit against any expenses for cleaning or repairs. Please (see Section 8 of Events Use Agreement).

Staffing
An event must have the following number of Museum Staff present for each venue:

Fechin House - 3
Fechin Studio - 2
TAM Patio - 2

There will be a charge of $20.00 per hour per staff member for all events scheduled outside the Museum's regular business hours to cover staff overtime.

Private Event Rates
$1,000.00 for use of Fechin House
$ 650.00 for use of Fechin Studio
$ 650.00 for use of the Museum's Patio

Fees are based on a seven (7) hour event, which includes set-up and breakdown. If the venue is needed for less than 7 hours; the same rates apply. Additional (if event goes past contracted time) time is $200.00 an hour and will be prorated in increments of fifteen (15) minutes.
